Sam Wróbel learned wycinanki, the Polish folk art of papercutting as a child, and today continues the tradition through Sparrow Papercraft. Sam creates wycinanki to connect with his ancestral heritage and to carry on this vibrant but dying tradition. Each design is made with just scissors and paper. His work is a blend of traditional folk designs and original creations, often drawing inspiration from his home in SW Louisiana.
