Ordering
-
The minimum order quantity for custom screen printing varies depending on factors like the printing method used. While screen printing typically requires a minimum quantity for cost-effectiveness, we strive to accommodate different project needs. We value flexibility and quality, whether it's a small or large order. For larger orders exceeding 500 shirts, please contact us at least 3 weeks in advance to reserve a production slot. Let us bring your custom screen printing ideas to life, no matter the size of your project.
-
Turnaround times vary depending on the specifics of each print job and our current workload. We'll provide you with an estimate when quoting your project, but typically, it takes around 2 weeks. The turnaround time begins once we have a finalized design and deposit. If you have a specific deadline, please reach out to us to check the possibility of accommodating your project within our production schedule (rush fees may apply).

We print on a wide range of garments, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tank tops, and more.

Yes, you can mix different garment sizes and colors within the same order. We understand that each person's preferences and needs may vary, which is why we offer the flexibility to customize your order. However, please note that if the design needs to be resized for smaller garments, it will be treated as a separate order, and set-up fees and minimums may apply. This is because resizing the design requires additional time and resources. Our team will guide you through the process and ensure that you have all the necessary information regarding set-up fees and minimum requirements.
-
While we can accommodate customers who prefer to provide their own garments for screen printing, we strongly recommend using our recommended suppliers for the best quality and consistency. If you choose to provide your own garments, we will need to inspect them beforehand to ensure they are suitable for screen printing and meet our standards. Please consult with our team to discuss any specific requirements or considerations related to providing your own garments. It's important to note that when mistakes happen on press, it's easier for us to replace items when using our own stock.
-
Yes, we understand that sometimes you may need your custom screen printing order completed on a tight deadline. We offer rush order services to accommodate urgent requests. However, please note that rush orders require additional resources and prioritization to meet the accelerated timeline. As a result, there may be rush fees associated with expedited processing. These fees help cover the costs of adjusting our production schedule and dedicating additional resources to fulfill your order promptly. Our team will provide you with all the necessary information regarding rush fees and discuss the available options to ensure your order is completed within your desired timeframe.
-
We understand that changes may be necessary, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. However, please note that once an order has been placed and production has begun, making changes may not always be possible. It is crucial to communicate any changes or modifications as early as possible to ensure we can address them appropriately. Our team is here to assist you throughout the process and provide guidance on potential options for making changes to your order.

For screen printing, we offer a range of options to suit different budgets and preferences. While we recommend premium brands like Bella+Canvas, American Apparel, and Next Level for their exceptional quality and style, we also understand that cost can be a factor. In addition to the premium brands, we also offer more affordable options such as Gildan and Tultex. These brands provide a cost-effective solution without compromising on durability and comfort.
When it comes to direct-to-garment printing, we prioritize using higher quality 100% cotton garments to achieve the best results. This is because the ink bonds exceptionally well with cotton fibers, resulting in vibrant and long-lasting prints. Therefore, we primarily recommend premium brands like Bella+Canvas and Next Level that offer 100% cotton options specifically designed for direct-to-garment printing.
-
Absolutely! We understand the convenience of reordering your favorite designs. We keep your design files and order history on record, making it easy for you to reorder with us. Simply reach out to our team and provide the details of your previous order, such as design name, quantity, and garment style. Please note that while we retain your design files, we do not hold screens indefinitely. Additionally, if you anticipate needing a reorder soon after placing the first order, it's most cost-effective to order a larger quantity upfront to take advantage of bulk pricing and minimize setup costs.
Artwork and printing limitations
-
We provide basic design and artwork clean-up services with every job. If you require assistance with custom artwork creation from scratch, we offer premium graphic design services. The availability of these services may vary depending on our current workload. Each project is quoted individually, considering factors such as the complexity of the art, print job size, desired turnaround time, and our capacity to accommodate additional design requests. Our dedicated team will assess your needs and provide you with a detailed quote, ensuring that your design expectations are met while maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
-
We offer various options for artwork submission to ensure a convenient process. You can email it to us, share it via cloud storage services, or bring it to our physical location on a USB drive. When it comes to file formats, we recommend providing your artwork in a high-resolution vector format such as AI, EPS, or PDF for optimal scalability and clarity. If your artwork contains complex graphics or photographs, high-resolution raster formats like PSD or TIFF are preferred. Please avoid low-resolution formats like JPEG or GIF to maintain the integrity of your design. Our team is available to assist you with any technical specifications or requirements related to artwork submission.
-
Yes, we can match specific colors or Pantone shades for your design. We have a wide range of ink colors available, and our team is skilled in color matching to ensure your design accurately reflects your desired colors. Please provide us with the specific color codes or Pantone numbers, and we'll do our best to match them as closely as possible. Please note that color matching may require additional time and resources, and extra fees may apply.

We have the capability to screen print designs with up to 8 colors. This allows for vibrant and detailed designs. However, if your design requires more colors or intricate shading, we also offer direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, which has the ability to reproduce unlimited colors and intricate details. It's important to note that each process has its pros and cons. Screen printing is best suited for larger quantities and offers excellent durability, while DTG printing is ideal for smaller quantities and offers exceptional color accuracy and detail. Our experienced team will guide you in choosing the best printing method for your specific design and requirements.
-
For screen printing, we utilize high-quality plastisol inks. Plastisol inks are renowned for their vibrant colors, excellent opacity, and durability, making them ideal for achieving long-lasting and professional results.
For direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, we use water-based inks. Water-based inks offer a soft and breathable feel on the fabric, allowing for a more comfortable wearing experience. They also provide exceptional color vibrancy and are environmentally friendly.
-
While we do not provide physical proofs with each job, we offer a comprehensive digital proofing process. Upon finalizing the design and specifications, we will create a digital proof that accurately represents how your custom screen-printed garments will look. This allows you to review and approve the design, colors, and placement before moving forward with production. Our digital proofing system ensures accuracy and expedites the production process, saving both time and resources. While physical proofs may be available in certain circumstances, it's important to note that they can significantly extend the production timeline.
-
For screen printing, the maximum print size at Parish Ink is 12x15 inches. It's important to consider the size of your artwork and how it will fit within this print area.

Yes, you can specify the desired print location for your custom screen printing order. We offer various options such as front, back, sleeve, or pocket prints, depending on the garment style and design. However, please note that certain factors like the size and complexity of the design, garment type, and available printing methods may affect the suitability of specific print locations. Our experienced team will provide guidance and recommendations based on your design and garment selection to ensure the best possible outcome.
-
While it is technically possible to print over zippers and seams using screen printing, it is generally not recommended. Printing over these areas can pose challenges in terms of achieving a smooth and even print result. The raised surfaces and uneven texture of zippers and seams may cause inconsistencies in the ink application, resulting in a less desirable print outcome. It is advisable to consider alternative design placements or modifications to ensure the best print quality.
